Smoke finishes 9th after starting 5th, but he was dropped down to 30th in the middle of the race so he didn't do a bad Job either.
And Larson... The 3 races before the Chase, he finished 1st, 3rd and 2nd. Then, in the Round of 16, he finished 18th, 10th and 25th. And now, when he's out of the Chase, he finishes 5th.

Nice finishes by Patrick and McDowell......they were smart enough to stay away from the diva in the 78 on restarts and took advantage of all the attrition to enhance their finishing positions.
