Cup RACE thread -- COTA

3 straight wins, reminiscent of Jordan's 3-peats. I was thinking of predicting a 3rd straight win for Reddick, saw it coming a mile away.

After watching Reddick out pull the Fords and the Chevy's all day long on the long straight at COTA, I think it is time for a great big engine dyno party for everybody pretty soon.

Of course you do....and in the interest of pure objectivity, you would say the same thing if the Fords or Chevys did the same thing, right? What a load of BS. Ya got beat....but flattered. Thank you. In the words of the great Red Bull Team Principal, Christian Horner....."Fix yer ****** caaaar!"

It's one thing to watch SVG in the past years just walk away from everybody in the technical twisty parts of the course, but Reddick had both Blaney and SVG all over him in those technical parts, so one would think that going into turn one after curve 20 and up the long straight they would be side by side or even close, but Reddick would out pull them and be one or two car lengths ahead after the straight all day long. Pretty obvious to me and even Toyota Clint pointed it out and the rest of the booth agreed. Enjoy your win.

Clearly you weren't on Reddick's scanner. He was the best in the stadium section all day....and then there's the comment that one of the "on air personalities" made about getting off of the last turn better which gives the appearance of more horsepower. Make no mistake, MY TRD motors were badass, and likely much more powerful that the other OEMs, but to paint a picture that the discrepancy was so egregious that it would necessitate an immediate dyne check sounds like the voice of a fan whose team didn't win.....again. It is silly when Ford has hp....we talk Robet Yates. When Chevy has horsepower, we talk The Felon. When Toyota has horsepower, we talk dyno. I love this. Couldn't be better.

You believe what you believe and get as many "my Toyotas" in the text as possible. I think they all need a dyno party, it's a new HP number they were using for the course and other tracks and Nascar needs to be on the ball for obvious signs of disparities.
