Cup RACE thread --- Darlington

I don't know about you guys but i'm having a great time tonight! Might be the fact that the race is on NBC, or the throwback theme, but either way, I'm havin fun!
 
Obviously I have missed a key event here. Is Scott the new Stenhouse?

Haven't kept up with NASCAR this year in the least.
 
So NASCAR is really going to look the other way here?

Honestly, they never do anything so it's not surprising. Unless you pull a Gordon or Kenseth and bowl through a guy it's nbd.
 
Typical TS. I tried to like TS this year, but I won't miss him for second when he's gone.

48 team nobody to blame but themselves. Shouldn't have been in that position. Does anybody actually get away with the blatant body slams?
 
Scott was very classy. Almost too much so.

As much as I'll stick up for Stewart when deserved, that was pure cowardice. That's the other unfortunate side of Tony that gives his critics plenty of ammo. NASCAR is also cowardly for not penalizing him in any meaningful way. He should have been parked for multiple laps.

He's been called to meet with NASCAR after the race. But to your point, probably not much will come of it

Haha yes. What are they going to do, hold him after school and make him write "I won't intentionally wreck anyone" 100 times on a chalkboard? The only time to address an incident like that is at the time with an on-track penalty.

Love the irony that they play a commercial with TS calling someone else a knucklehead.

Exactly.

Anything else is inconsequential. This is part of the reason why I'm no longer watching the sport on a consistent basis.
