Texas Terry and Dale Jr were my favorites. So I was in the same boat. Totally agree.

I always felt similar too until Jr drove for them. I was a Jr fan since I was a kid well before he even made it to NASCAR. I remember being so damn upset when he debuted in Busch series at Daytona and flipped.
I never liked Rick but still followed Jr. Still mainly just a fan of Byron there (and maybe Larson but not as much), and he started out as kind of a Jr guy in a way. HMS just kind of grew on me being a Jr fan.
