I don't think it has anything to do with the package. I just don't think these guys care anymore. There's no fear and no consequences. If guys were were breaking bones and missing weeks things would change.

Kyle Busch did get hurt and miss some time a few years ago don't seem to change anything.

Daytona completely rebuilt that section of the track after his wreck. The runoff area and angle of those temp walls i believe were "blamed".
