Dont misunderstand my posting, I am not on the Clint is gonna be gone from SHR after this year train, I am in agreement with you that he has done ok overall, but I am not sure its to the level that him and SHR expected him too, so its going to be interesting to see how things play out .
 
This is what HMS gets for being more like Penske and building all their cars the same all under one roof instead of keeping the 24/9 and 88/48 in their own respective shops.

No need for apologies my bro. Clint has been here for a long time and really hasn’t been a standout in his entire career. I actually like the guy I just don’t feel that he has the driver ability to be a threat.

Its better IMO, but that's apart of wholesale changes.

Look at the teams that have been doing it. It works, but big changes take time. I get HMS fans being fustrated, but maybe they thought the previous system had run its course.

I actually think he is gone after this year if he doesn’t get a win or make the playoffs. With Clint now in the 40+ club and Custer having a great year in Xfinity, I’m afraid they’ll drop the guillotine on Clint at the end of the year if his results don’t start improving.
 
My dad got mad when NASCAR penalized Byron for pulling ahead of Bowyer on the restart last week, claiming Bowyer brake-checked the field.

I'm kind of worried what his reaction will be when he sees Logano getting away with the same violation this week.

(Normally, we watch races together on YouTube a few days after they happen. But, I was able to find an acceptable stream today.)

Sometimes it takes the right team and right pairing honestly. Good drives make bad cars good(hints me mentioning MWR wins) I mean yeah he ain’t the best, but he’s a good hand for any team IMO. Clint will have a ride, if it’s with SHR who knows, but he’ll find a ride some place I’m sure.

It wont be surprising if it does happen, I think a lot is going to hinge what happens with Custer too, I believe he is staying in Cup Jr for one more year.

Still waiting for Byron’s chassis to fall apart at the welds.

Absolutely. I agree that this is a team sport and that chemistry is an extremely important and relevant factor.
Everything has to click to be a consistent threat in the Cup Series.
 
I find it hard to believe Childers reported that his pit crew has been better than ever.
 
Is it me or has Chris Buescher been running well the last month, he’s top 10 today
