Cup RACE thread: Martinsville

I don't like that end at all. 23 just about stopped out there and the 20 rides the wall to the end.

HMS

5 Car - dominates the points, wins, playoff points
24 Car - 2nd most wins, top 3 playoff seedings
9 Car - didn't have playoff points but top 3 in points all year

HMS shut out and it's beautiful lololol

For ***** sake, let's get back to the 10 race chase. Scrap elimination.

10 weeks of points racing

Can’t complain about the effort. All the errors came on Chase and Trey’s shoulders. All I could ask. Got beaten straight up, tip your cap and move on.
That's what I told my buddy. We proved today we can still do this s^$*. We came back from a monster mistake and was 15 laps away from going to Phoenix with a shot

Big difference when those cars were BEHIND Byron. Bubba was way AHEAD of bell

If those two Chevys aren’t blocking Keselowski to protect Byron, bubba doesn’t do what he did.

You’re a Byron fan so I don’t expect you to criticize those actions.

I was so focused on Byron holding those two off, I didn't even think about it being two Chevy's behind him. I honestly don't know what to think or who to give the final spot to.

Does the rule state you can’t pass or you can’t ride the wall?

I'm not really sure man. Is that a sarcastic question because of the rule or a legit question?

Cause I don't know the answer. But I do know that Bell had the position before riding the wall.

What's the consequence? It only has to be disqualification. Disqualification for a move that didn't advance the spot?

It's not like they can decide to give the spot up. He had the spot prior to that. The issue was Bubba giving up the spot.

But at the same time, the 24 had Chevies holding up the field behind him and the move wouldn't be necessary if Chevy wasn't playing games too.

So, who the hell knows. What we know is that this is a total farce...

This wasn't about the 20/24.
