I remember a story that Jeff Gordon told about an IROC race at Daytona. He was the middle of a 3-wide into the corner -- all 3 wide open. I don't remember who was on the inside, but Dale was on the outside. Jeff said he looked over at Dale and he was driving with his left hand and had the right draped over the roll bar with a big grin on his face. Jeff said he backed out really fast.

Yep. Made the smart move because Dale drifted up all 3 lanes and slid infront of Kenny in the turn.
