I like Bowman and hope good things will happen for him. But if he doesnt make the chase or playoffs in an HMS car, the financal loss would have to be factored in with the good relationship with his sponsors.

Note: This is strictly an imo or speculation post.
 
I mean wasn't the final nail in the coffin that forced this point system when Kenneth won 1 race and the championship while Newman won 8 races? When you have as long a season as cup does, consistency is more important than winning regardless of the points system.

I like Hocevar, it will be great to see him get that first W, hopefully it happens this year. He has a great future.

But, if he was -4 laps on fuel, losing the LR only damagaged his finishing position. Did it cost him the win? I don't think so.

His car clearly looked off from the stands. He could only run one line and when he pushed it’d get quite wobbly.

Being there I have to admit the last 50 was unbelievable. 3-4 cars within a couple tenths of the lead and Hocevar in the hunt to win his first race? Just awesome stuff

That duel between Byron and Hamlin was awesome through the tri oval in person, not sure how it was on TV but those blocks at 200 mph were just insane

Maybe he doesn't. He is having fun watching people **** themselves over him having fun. He enjoys himself, and gives a ton back to the sport. People always say how the sport needs more personality....until it gets one.

There are personalities and there are jack asses. It just depends on which side of the street you are on.

That’s all fine and dandy, I have my fun watching him choke when it matters most.
