He’s had Kyle Busch on a couple times in the past few weeks. As recently as like last week (maybe 2 weeks). I think he’s had other drivers on too. Maybe Chase? I can’t recall off the top of my head.

I don’t know about all of that, my friend. However, going off of one of your points, I can’t imagine RC will be altogether pleased with KB sort of insinuating that the team sucks like he did.
 
Focusing on the drama, what’s the opposite of having no dogs in a fight? I can’t really say I dislike either of them.

Drama aside, it’s a great year to be a NASCAR fan. 😁 Sure, we could moan about stages and the playoff system… whatever. We. Are. Still. Getting. Racing!!!

The feat NASCAR pilled off is quite amazing honestly...Last year this race was ruined by having too much tire fall off and this year it was ruined by not enough tire fall off. The most amazing thing though was to have all that side by side racing which was exciting until you noticed that with all that racing there was little passing. Not a good look when the car that starts out front leads every lap....or every lap but one anyway. Don't get me wrong it could have been worse but just nothing special.

Did Kyle say "I suck just as bad as you?" He just can't get used to being in equipment that will not give him a chance to win every weel or close to it. Can't say I blame him. Ty Gibbs has done well but a Kyle B he will never be. I can't remember all the circumstances that led to it but still odd to me that he is not with Gibbs - Should have been for life.

How could he be with Gibbs for life when he started his career at Hendrick?

Ty Gibbs will be better if he can keep his emotions in check.

I will be the first to admit he has far exceeded my expectations and shown far more maturity than I thought possible and does have potential. But....love him or hate him KB might be the best pure stock car driver at least of the past generation or so. I know some will disagree because he is so unprofessional and a nightmare for some sponsors but his talent warrants a better ride. I am surprised Rick Hendrick did not make a play for him for the 48 regardless of what happened their first go round.

He is not done winning races. In the two years after sold out Joe, he has won 3 races. His replacement Ty hasn't won any. I look at it as he has taken 3 races away from Joe and the boys after the "we can't find him any sponsors" B.S.

Comparing Kyle's three wins to Ty's 0 is just plain stupid.....and you are not a stupid person. I think KB would be a great fit at Spire after he tires of Poor Richard and his team of engineers that are apparently done milking the IP out of the Next Gen prototype. WE came out way ahead on the KB v. Ty thing. Sponsorship wasn't a problem for Ty. You are also well aware that the development timeline is different now with limited practice and no testing.....but you play stupid to support this fake as hell KB love.

Learned from the best. Do you hire a guy for what he has done, what he is doing, or what he could do? No, yes, and yes on Ty......Yes, No, and No on KB. Simple. Wins aren't the only metric.....Dega was Dega.....that leaves him with two and a punch in the face.....and Poor Richard about ready to make an ass out of himself if given the opportunity.
 
I just wish I knew what changed about Kyle to make SOI a fan. Rev at least is transparent and straight up lets you know he isn’t a Kyle fan anymore because he isn’t in a Toyota.

The OEM, and this is what I respect. Love it or hate it....I appreciate any engagement based on the OEM.

Oh I know, but I just wish he admit that. Like I don’t get it personally, because I like a driver if I like him, no matter what he’s driving, but I know it’s why he likes Kyle now, because he’s not in one of them Toyotas anymore.

To be fair, it’s no guarantee Kyle would’ve won those races if still at JGR, so I don’t know if you can say it’s 3 wins he “lost.” Different situations lead to different results.

Yeah, and I respect your approach.....but that is how @StandOnIt are the same....he will hate on all who drive a Toyota, and those are the only drivers I will root for. I am looking into going to Michigan--not because that is the land of Toyota by any means obviously, but because I love the Ford v. Chevy...and clear manufacturer loyalty piece.

Only three championships for the rice burners in almost 20 years. The Bowties have 11 and the Fords have 4 in the same time frame. Jr kin with the all smoke and no fire show is a dud so far.

Kyle would be in a better place if he was at JGR, but all of that had run its course. He is in a team with less engineering talent.....further down the food chain with its OEM.....with a car he struggles with anyway......lacking any teammate with a clue......He should have known that, but there was nothing left for him, and the resurrection/revenge tour had the testosterone flowing. Anybody have KB screaming to Stenhouse, "We both suck!" on their Bingo cards in May of his second year?

Shouldn't you be comparing the first 20 years of Chevy's involvement v. Toyota's? .....and if you did.....the sport would be so archaic, would it even mean anything? ....and how champions are decided? Can you find anything on your X feed or anywhere else that deems Toyota a failure in NASCAR? Go to work.

You obviously saw the driver intros for the all star race. Jr kin's ears are still ringing for all the BOOOs. lol.
