Why are the stages so arbitrary? At Daytona, stage 1 and 2 took us to 60% of race distance. Here, 1 and 2 are less than halfway. Makes no sense.

Apparently, the length of the first two stages fit within a fuel window.

No opportunities for green flag pit stops until the final stage.
