Holy crap. I searched for the temperature in Kennewick thinking you're exaggerating, and WU is forecasting a high of 113!

Here in northern Texas, we often reach the lower 100s in July and August, but we rarely reach 108. 113 pretty much never happens here.

Its 112 for me right now, 113 is the foretasted high for today
 
Boring race so far but the swings in stage finishing order is pretty intriguing. There are easily 12 cars that could realistically win this thing and I hope we get to see some strategy because then that number jumps to almost 20.

IIRC its out of the ordinary but not unheard of. The region has had a handful of 100+ days but not since the late 1800s.

Jebus, I just looked, they are having our extreme heat we had a few weeks ago, a few days of 115 and 117 forecasted, on top of having higher humidity
