There have been a lot of big crashes at this track....Davey Allison in 1992, Jeff Gordon in 2006, Elliott Sadler in 2010, Jimmie Johnson last year, and Bubba today. Pocono can really knock the wind out of you.

Tried to go through the grass to slow some momentum...

Holy heck the real speed video of him skimming over the grass, going up the incline and then turning to present as much of the right side to the wall as possible........that was freaking epic.

So glad he walked away, still looked very shook.

Safer barriers, safe cars.... it's a dangerous sport. No more dangerous than Daytona or Talladega

We give NASCAR crap for a lot of stuff but honestly I believe they are the safest form of motorsport right now when it comes to the speeds they are running. Have come a long way and these guys keep walking away from wrecks virtually unharmed.

Racing is always potentially deadly and everyone knows that prior to signing on the dotted line.
