His name didn't win him a championship. It may have accelerated him getting into top equipment but you have to have skill to win a championship.

As I've said, I think the tires don't get enough talk. Those things are damn hockey pucks with no falloff. I have no idea why we're only running one compound

My greatest joy in this sport is to watch MY Toyotas figure it out. WE were terrible here last year. To be there in person Saturday as I watched the top of the pylon fill up with Toyotas was incredible. I was standing at "The Point" where the pylon is, and was dancing around like a little kid. Going to bed Saturday, I was freaked out that WE were so good, I was stressed that WE wouldn't walk out of here with the trophy. I will be honest....I called the win after MTJ's first timed lap. WE had our road course mojo back. Absolutely love this.

Honestly, I knew it from his first lap Saturday. I knew OUR **** was fixed, and it was going to be a good weekend. So happy. Another week to soak it all in. Love this.
