A pit road screw up for sure but I don't think he is a hack. He has got the speed thats hard to coach, He just has to got to learn to eliminate the mistakes.

Yes McDowell spun in the first lap, it looks like had a bad toe link prior to the spin that caused it. Lost a lap in the pits for the repair/replacement, lost another lap on the track due to loosing the draft.

Riding on board with the 5/9. 48 car looks to be a handful.
But the 48/5 have an opportunity every lap to come down in front of Chase and pull the train as an HMS 1-2-3. NOT sure why they arent doing that.
