48 car looks terrible. Moving all over the place. Still not sure why the HMS cars chose to not work together there. Bowman and Larson could have near guarenteed a HMS 1-2-3 for the stage

They chose to clog up the front to keep everyone else at bay. I’m sure there’s a more nefarious “help the Golden Child” plot afoot too.

And I wouldn't call it nefarious. Chase needs a stage win more than the 5/48 do. 2 birds one stone.

I mean at least it's not a Nationwide race break to see Dale Jr running 18th. He's leading the race lol. When the field is stuck 2x2 all day your only option is to talk about what's happening up front

Yes. Eddie told Chase to not worry about the 48 and 5 coming down because the plan was to control both front lanes.

Larson was able to push really well. Of the HMS cars, the one I’d worry about is the 48. He was dancing like crazy and the 9 was planted as Ross pushed him like a madman.

I think it hurt his speed he was slow duing the closing laps of the stage running mid 51, low 52 second laps. He needs to be running 49 sec laps.
Currently only good enough to be last the car in the draft.
Maybe they get it better during the end of the stage pit stops. I think he has a long day if they can't make it any better
