Which is sad, this track used to put on good races.
I don't think the track was responsible for the wheels coming off.

I've been to Atlanta in 24* temps. The drivers might be comfortable, but I froze my ass off.This is one reason why I wouldn’t mind seeing a winter race in a cold climate. The drivers might actually be comfortable.

A couple of years ago when I went to the All Star Race at TMS, the temps were brutal! They did hand out towels to the fans throughout the race, which most people would wet them down and put them around their necks.
