That was a visibility accident. It had nothing to do with the tires. You can make a case for not running in the rain, but this one doesn't support it.

In less moisture, visibility would have been better and there may not have been an accident. This doesn't rule out rains under conditions that aren't as wet, or to go racing again before the track is completely dry.
