Apparently it landed but skidded off the runway. Likely too much speed or some kind of equipment failure.

Apparently the family was involved in a crash. All were taken to hospital for further evaluation.Everybody is ok according to reports.

That's pretty scary. Just another reminder that tomorrow's not promised to anyone, and you never know when it's gonna be your time. I'm really glad that it wasn't Dale Jr.'s and his family's time.

Glad they’re OK, I flashed back to the Kulwicki crash when I saw the headline earlier, as that was also in Eastern TN leading up to a Bristol race. Thank God this was a different outcome.

Next week's will be interesting for sure!
From the picture, it looks like the most intense flames were at the rear and burned forward. That would give passengers and pilots time to get out.
