When is it going to happen? Some people hope soon. Could she be what NASCAR needs for better ratings?

I have no problem with Danica moving to NASCAR, or anywhere else. It would be a boost I believe to NASCAR. That is why, only my opinion, that I believe NASCAR is courting her to come along for a full bodied ride in the much heavier non-stock cars. NASCAR, due to overwhelming pressure from groups like the NAACP, started it's diversity program. I think the program was a flop, but NASCAR could see where they could benefit from getting more diverse fans to the racetracks, infront of the T.V.'s, and attract new big coorporate sponsors. That is where Juan Pablo Montoya and the trips to Mexico came in. Juan may have had a little intrest in coming back to the U.S. to race, but I think the wallet of NASCAR attracted Juan more than anything. Bring a spanish speaking driver, and they will come. Then put him in front of the audience of the fan base they want to grab, Latinos, at the road course in Mexico City. I don't know if it worked or not, cause I have not seen many Latinos lined up a Juan's hauler. I think that is also why we had such a influx of Open wheelers. Money is better over here in the non-stock car world. So NASCAR, open up your wallets, and bring the Go daddy girl to non-stock cars. Your ratings needs it.

IMO, Danica will not do well in a stock car. Too hard to drive, ESPECIALLY the COT. She's used to cars that are way more adjustable and practically drive themselves. Plus, I think she'll freak if someone puts the bump-and-run on her...

NASCAR could use Danica, but they don't need her. Gabi DiCarlo's running Trucks (and she's not hard to look at:growl:) and Alli Owens will be running Nationwide this season. They'll be Sprint Cup ready before Danicamania.

Can I ask why Danica Patrick is popular in the first place? Shes not an overly great driver is hideously ugly.

NASCAR isn't courting her, it's her people that keep leaking this stuff whenever it's contract renewal time.
Of course you can see by the ads she's willing to do and the SI bathing suit spreads she don't have a problem selling herself for a few bucks.

IF she comes to NASCAR I want in car camera's on her with an open face helmet so we can see her face while KB2 bump drafts her down the front stretch at 200+ at Daytona. :beerbang::beerbang::beerbang:

She'd probably look like this:

And then she would stomp off the track and whine about it and push him around and then wonder wtf is up when he pushes back like Milka did at Mid-Ohio.

Seriously, do yourself a favor and get an eye exam...

I actualy think Sarah Fisher is more attractive. Danica's hot dont get me wrong but he attitude is a major turn off. Where Sarah Fisher in my opinion is just as hot and almost always has a great attitude.

That picture made me throw up in my mouth a little(honestly). She has a 12 year old boys body. An adams apple. Cheek bones normally found only in men. There is nothing feminine about her whatsoever. She is simply hideous.

I think Gabi DiCarlo is the best looking of them all. But I wouldn't kick Danica out of bed.

Andy, I think a night in bed with Danica might go downhill fast when you see the scars where "her" ***** and crown royal bag used to be.

If any of y'all see any 12 year old, adams-appled little boys that look like this in my neighborhood, please drag them to my house...

I won't tell...

Ok....Danica is hot ...there settled that for you guys. As for her coming to Nascar, never happen, she has it made where she is, wouldn't fare too well trying to muscle a 3500lb stock car around say Infineon for even 10 laps never mind an entire race. Not taking anything away from her, after all she did finish 3rd at Indy, but she has won only one race her entire career at the top level, never been a serious contender for the points championship, and is a little too consumed with herself to actually be a winner. Nascar would use her up in a half season, she weighs all of 110lbs, no way she would make it through a season of 36 races. As for another woman stepping up and making it big time at the Cup level, I don't see that happening either.

This same conversation comes up every time she is renegotiating her contract. IMO she doesn't care to come to NASCAR at all. She said in the past that she has no desire to run a season that is that long. I think that if she did come to NASCAR, it would be a huge boost for the sport. I think that her popularity would soar over most all of the drivers. We'd see her at every commercial break pushing one product or another. Oh, and you have to be freaking kidding me if you don't think she's hawt! :growl:

Alli Owens in Nationwide.... she has not and will not do anything in ARCA.

15 starts
1 top 10 finish
2 lead lap finishes
Average finish 23rd

She has no business in Nationwide. It just goes too show that if you have the money too spend you can buy your way in. They better save some money to buy a car # for Nationwide to get her in the show. She will not
make the show on time. She should stick to writing in blogs and carrying her accessory dog around the track with her.... and the pink stripe in her hair....lmao...that just screams "Hey, sponsor me!" :sarcasm:

Gabi Dicarlo will be Sprint Cup ready..... please.

46 starts
3 top 10 finishes
11 lead lap finishes
Average finish 21st

There are only about 8 cars that can (or at least should) win in ARCA and these two are far from that group.

Actually I would like to see Danica on NASCAR. Let her run a race or two in trucks. With that bump and run crowd on the short tracks she would not last very long.

Give me a second. I'm going to go smoke a cigar and drink some moonshine before I embarrass you.

Because DGM Racing equipment is of the same caliber as Eddie Sharp, Roush-Fenway and Cunningham/Penske. :sarcasm:

Daytona 2008: Alli will tell you herself she went in way over her head there... that was only her first career start - and she had the pressure of mind blowing expectations.
Iowa: blown motor.
Rockingham 2008: I love Rockingham, but that was a sorry excuse of a race anyways.
Pocono: top 15 WITHOUT power steering before a lapped car wrecked literally right in front of her.
Kentucky or Nashville (can't remember which one): top 10 before another motor expired.
New Jersey: Top-15 (and was one of the three fastest cars on the track at the time) before Michael Phelps wrecked her. And I'll have you know, Mr. Phelps wrecked quite a few people at New Jersey.
Toledo: Dumped by Norm Benning.
Daytona 2009: Eddie Mercer slamdrafting in the middle of the corners.
smack.gif

Rockingham 2009: Short runs killed her -- her car was one of the best (excluding Schrader and Caisse who were in their own league) at the end of the race.
Talladega 2009: Would've easily finished in the top 3 had it not been for the costly pit road mistake. She came back to finish 6th.

ARCA is for learning. Alli is doing just that, and improving every time she races. Eddie D'Hondt is doing a great job prepping her for Nationwide.

Now this is the part that made my eyes roll right to the back of my head.

What ideas to you have for a driver trying to get sponsorship? I'm sure Eddie D'Hondt is right here, glued to racing-forums to hear your ideas!

MATT CARTER DOESN'T HAVE A ****ING RIDE!!! Are you saying he's a talentless oph who doesn't deserve to be racing?

And don't make fun of the doggy!!!

Finishing mid-pack in the Camping World Truck Series pays a hell of a lot more than finishing near the front in the ARCA Re/Max Series.

Yeah, I have to agree with you. I like Gabi and Ali, i'm sure they are great people but they won't make it in NASCAR. Ali hasn't made many starts so maybe I can give her the benefit of the doubt. But Gabi? She has made way too many starts in ARCA to still have had no results. Maybe she should run in USAR, I think she had a top 5 in one of the races before.

That'd be awesome. She'd definitely be a good draw for USAR.

Although, based off what I saw at Langley, USAR draws a solid crowd. I don't know about the other tracks, but there was an incredible crowd at Langley! :beerbang:

I don't go to many USAR races but I went to the one at Motor Mile last year and the crowd wasn't very good. I was suprized because tickets were only $15.

and the pink stripe in her hair....lmao...that just screams "Hey, sponsor me!" :sarcasm:

This is the snarky little remark you should be absolutely ashamed of.

And since you don't know what you're talking about, let me elaborate on this.

Alli's aunt was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Alli put a pink stripe in her hair (symbolic of the pink ribbon) and said she would keep her pink stripe until her aunt was able to overcome the cancer that KILLS 40,000 WOMEN A YEAR IN THE UNITED STATES ALONE!

So you can feel free to take your "pink stripe in her hair....lmao" and stick it where the sun don't shine. :)

Isn't Motor Mile in the middle of nowhere?

Oh I guess I have been told....:sarcasm:
Glad you don't see where you crossed the line. :sarcasm:

You know, to criticize a driver on their performance is alright with me, I do it all the time. It's the part about "the pink stripe in her hair" that got me. I think it's a great symbolic gesture that she's doing for her aunt. And instead of criticizing her, you should be wishing her aunt well.

Not everyone knows Ali Owens whole life story. I follow ARCA very closely and never heard anything about that.

And I'm saying he could've apologized about that instead of having some sarcastic response.

I didn't expect him to know that. I didn't think anything of it when I saw it either. But he could've taken it back.

Oh, and leave doggy alone.
