Daniel Suarez Appreciation Thread

Great call from the 7 team and what a drive by Suarez to win the thing! One of the few times over all these the years that 3rd place Hamlin was speechless lol. Bell drove his ass off overcoming two penalties for second place, but Suarez was not going down without a fight and Suarez was flawless in a multiple restart situation for the win. Kyle's 'ol KBM team came thru. We all know the rest, the sad part that is overshadowing everything and that is never going to go away.

Many weren't around or were very young when Sr. passed away. I'm within a few months of being the same age that Dale was so I was there for the whole thing as I have been for Kyle's career. I wasn't one of the greatest Dale fans back then but it is still painful to me all these 26 years later to post things to this board about the life and times of Dale Earnhardt as it is going to be about the big hole Kyle Busch left in the sport that I and so many others love.

Yesterday was the first Cup race without a Busch since 2015. They had been in the sport since the early 2000's.

Thankfully, the drivers put on a show yesterday and Suarez got the upset win, using the same number Busch used in his last NASCAR win and for the same team. It was meant to be.

It's crazy to me how long Kyle Busch had been at the top level. I was probably like 10 years old when Kyle made his first Cup start.

His evolution from being hated to being cheered for was insane. His older brother Kurt went through the exact same thing, now is one of the most beloved figures in the sports world.
