The odds are set by oddsmakers that go by the bets being placed up to the time they were posted, thats why there will most always be a difference, besides this is Daytona and nobody has a clue who will win. :D

I'm just amazed she managed to pose the exact same way for each shirt style for each different driver! That's the mark of a true professional!
Yeah, if she ever give up acting / modeling, she can make a great living with her crazy mad PhotoShop skills.

Odds? They're just a tool for bookmakers to keep the betting even. In reality, it's a plate track; everybody is 43:1.

Teams with altered roof flap spacers, from Jayski.

Teams found with modified roof flap spacers: Sixteen teams found to have modified roof flap spacers (lighter) during NASCAR inspection. Teams listed: #1-McMurray, #2-Keselowski, #9-Ambrose, #11-Hamlin, #13-Mears, #15-Bowyer, #16-Biffle, #17-Stenhouse Jr., #18-Busch, #20-Kenseth, #21-Bayne, #22-Logano, #43-Almirola, #55-Waltrip, #56-Truex Jr. and #99-Edwards. The modified/confiscated roof-flap spacers are on display at Daytona in the NASCAR hauler. NASCAR's Kerry Tharp addressed media on confiscated roof-flap spacers - "Spacers not in compliance with those kits." The roof-flap kits are supplied to teams for #NASCAR by one company (a Roush company) and are not to be changed.(SPEED's, Dustin Long Fox/NASCAR on Twitter & ), no word on penalties, etc.(7-4-2013)
Fantasy players, be aware if you're in a league that passes on penalties. I expect NASCAR will take a -very- dim view of screwing with the safety equipment. Aren't some of these crew chiefs already on probation?

Holy crap, 16 teams may be penalized at once, wonder if that is a record and if it comes out that they were a little high in the back to create downforce, not good news at all. :D

Stewart is behind the 8 ball and needs to start cheating.

AND Sixteen cars failed inspection before Thursday's Sprint Cup practice at Daytona International Speedway. NASCAR confiscated the teams' roof flaps, which are designed to keep cars on the ground during spins and wrecks at high speeds, for further inspection. Penalties could be possible. NASCAR inspectors made teams install new, unaltered roof flaps before drivers were allowed on the track for the first of two practices.(Associated Press)(7-4-2013)

Whats funny is the roof flaps are supplied by Roush and yet all the Roush teams got busted.

Strike 3 for the #2 team. The fact that 16 other teams got caught in this may save their ass, maybe not.

Meanwhile, the nascar media cue's kez's "Gray area" speech from last year.

Now we all know if this was the Hendricks cars all the haters would be commenting !

15 NNS teams also busted, same thing.

Keselowski's team is the only one that should worry too much.

Only one Chevrolet team. That's interesting.

I think it's interesting even one Chevy team buys these parts from Roush. This sounds like the whole JGR/TRD incident, but these teams are even more innocent because they aren't so closely tied to Roush. Now there's 15 NW teams involved, so maybe roush should be the only one penalized.

I wonder why McMurray was the only EGR car with the illegal flaps. It looks like every other organization was caught as a whole.

Damn, it feels good to be home for a couple of weeks and watching some Nascar again.:partytime

1st Waltrip uses jet fuel in his fuel lines & now he's modifying his roof flaps. Someone is under Chad's wing.

Sounds like a bad batch of parts. Too many teams involved . And ,if it is , Nascar needs to lighten up . They got themselves into a bad box when they came down on the TRD valves . They can't keep coming down hard on unsuspecting teams who get a bad batch of parts . No need , nothing to be gained.

Are you kidding? Git'em nascar, buncha damn cheaters, give'em the maximum, that's what ya'll say if its CK & JJ.

One former team manager said teams have been grinding down the spacers with an emphasis of saving weight. Another longstanding challenge is to get as much weight as possible to the bottom of the car to make it more stable in the high banking.
According to NASCAR, the spacers are part of a special kit provided by manufacturers. The spacers “weren’t in compliance with the kits that were provided by the manufacturers,” NASCAR spokesman Kerry Tharp said.

What I'm getting is that the spacers were all altered in different ways. None of them were the same. So I'm not going to point the finger at the supplier --- I'm going to point the finger at the teams for altering them.

While there are still a numerous number of questions to be answer ... one is answered.

NASCAR will make a decision on how much, if any penalty, will be levied against 16 of the 43 teams who unloaded at Daytona International Speedway for the Coke Zero 400 scheduled to be run on Saturday evening.

Penalty, for what? - Parts in the roof which are intended to prevent a car from going airborne when it spins. After talking to several of the teams, it is evident the issue with the pieces which are part of the flapper assembly would not prevent the flap from doing the job. However, the parts seized by NASCAR could, according to one member of team not involved in the issue, be a major help in changing how much air going over the roof of a race car at top speed rolls down the rear window and into the spoiler. If the roof flap raises high enough all the air rolling over the roof would be prevented from hitting the spoiler.

The teams involved, in a list released by NASCAR, include RoushFenway Racing, Penske Racing, Wood Brothers, Petty Motorsports, Joe Gibbs Racing, Michael Waltrip Racing, Earnhardt/Ganassi Racing and Germain Racing. The car numbers are - 16, 17, 99, 2, 22, 9, 43, 21, 11, 18, 20, 15, 55, 56, 1 and 13.

While all of the roof flap assemblies are made by Roush Industries, Roush Industries is not involved in the issue. The parts which come with the flaps for assembly could easily be replaced by the teams during construction of the racecar.

What I'm getting is that the spacers were all altered in different ways. None of them were the same. So I'm not going to point the finger at the supplier --- I'm going to point the finger at the teams for altering them.
If that's the case, and it sounds like you're right, then there will probably be hell to pay come Tuesday for messing with safety equipment. 31 noncompliance cases at once, gotta be a record.
