Ha ha, a short while ago I checked the hourly weather and they showed 40% chance till 7, then 20% rest of night. It has been changed to 90%, but maybe good after 8.

I have a 9 hour drive tomorrow to make the race. Think its gonna rain? Everything is screaming at me to not waste the entire day driving only to have to turn around lol

You can check it every 10 minutes and it'll be different. In all honesty, you can't really predict when and where exactly the Summer Storms in Florida will form. But they still try, because it's their job.

Get the rain tires and start at 7 on the roval. If it dries enough for drivers to feel confident on slicks, switch to the oval at the next stage break or caution.

Yep, I have lived in Florida for almost 40 years. But they do a terrific job forecasting hurricanes. Much respect for that.
