I thought we should try a new thread on here. Now the driver of the week won't always be the winner because sometimes the guy who wins used pit strategy and stuff like that. I'm not sure if this thread will work out or not but hey if not we can forget it ever happened;) This covers Cup, Nationwide and Truck races.

I think the driver of the week for Dega has to be Dale Earnhardt JR. He somehow made it through several accidents without getting any damage and he's my pick for driver of the week.

Brad Keselowski

Kasey Kahne. Overcame the Chevrolet/HMS Engine overheating issues, avoided wrecks and came home in 4th.

I'll give a shout-out to Eric McClure for surviving that horriffic crash in the Nationwide Race.

Hurry back!

I would give an Honnorable mention to Lagano

Brad Keselowski, for changing the restrictor plate game and giving us a surprise finish.

Brad Keselowski, first time in a while the driver who took the white flag was first to the stripe at Talladega. He drove a good race all day and the move in turn 3 was amazing.

I can't wait to see what he does next. I'm sure he's already gaming out a counter move, and a counter to that.

I printed out a picture of the 51 car that Brad wrecked. I'll have him sign it at the Lionel event in Charlotte on the 19th. I also plan to address him as "Twitter Boy". I think he'll be impressed.:)

I saw one of your movies, and I'm impressed that you know how to use a printer. ;)

I'm on the Kasey band wagon every wreck on Sunday happened right in front of him, which usually at Dega means he is in all of them, but missed them and finished 4th for his 2nd straight top 5 and 4th straight top 10.

He won't be impressed unless you change the stupid avatar.

I'm guessin that you were on that bandwagon before Sunday.

I'd have to go with Kezelowski, just for his well thought out move in turn three to win the race.

I'd agree with that even though it was Kyle who gave him the win.......man he pushed him all the way through the corner

that's how it's usually done, then he makes his move in the tri-oval. But Brad broke free of Kyle on the high entry, then broke away further when he quickly cut down hill and gained speed.

I got to go with Kasey , He did a great job driving through those wrecks and he got to wear the horseshoe this week instead of having it drop on his head.

HMS engine shop. When are they going to get their Chit together?

I say David Ragan. He ran in the top 15 almost all day and never got a mention for being there until the end of the race.

Hopefully soon! Idk how much of it is the engine shop though. Jimmie lost the oil pump belt on Sunday and Jeff again had the same issues with his guages as he did at Daytona when he blew up. (I know Jeff didn't blow up but he was overheating and the guages did not read) Obviously Jimmie and Jr are looking good this year and are in the game. I think Kasey is turning it around also and I think he can get a couple wins and make it as a wild card at least. Jeff on the other hand, as much as I hate to say it I don't think they can do it. The car has lacked performance and he's had terrible luck on top of it.

I vote for Albert Richards as driver of the week.....he drove the shuttle bus for Holiday Inn.....the race sucked

Not making the field for today's race, Albert Richards with a time of 9 mins 38 seconds.

Sorry GG, hate to tell you, but there is no race today....besides, 9 min and 38 sec. would still beat some like that Cobb woman or the Greens or ....you get my drift.........then again, maybe you don't.

You ain't too bright are ye FB......don't ask me, I'm not your keeper......call holiday inn and ask them, the number is 911.
