David Poole booted me twice because I did not respond him in what he thought was a fair amount of time. The owner of another forum booted me because I offered condolences to the family of someone who had died which was a real puzzler. I always liked the way ib007 handled things at TR because he would send you an email before getting his shorts in a knot.
You offered condolences to the family of someone that died?
You mean making a Chappaquiddick joke in a R.I.P. Ted Kennedy thread is offering condolences?

have a good summer at the cabin Skoal?
Hi, Clutch, I hope all is well with you and yours and it is good to see you. I still enjoy the cottage and put new windows in this year and built a new pier. It was quite cold last winter but the old place held together and didn't freeze up. I am still there at least once a week depending on how mad the missus is with me.

I have no recollection regarding the late Senator from the state of Mass but suffice it to say he was not my favorite politico.

Last April I offered my condolences, on NFP, to the family and friends of those members who had passed away. I knew Rog, Billy and Kid fairly well as I had enjoyed posting back and forth with them. Also an NFP moderator had passed away and over the years we had exchanged a few posts regarding our mutual enjoyment of motorcycling. That was it as I did not know the individual beyond that. I offered my condolences to his family and friends and mentioned that I did not know him very well. The owner of NFP took great offense at that statement and gave me the boot. I could not make up something that bizzare. The boot didn't matter as I had accomplished what I wanted and you could see the forum was no longer viable and was waiting for a visit from Dr. Kevorkian.

Maybe a Yogi-ism applies to NFP: "Nobody goes there anymore its to crowded."

Time to drop it Skoal, you will never convince those against you and the rest don't care.

Sometimes I have benefited from poor moderation and other times it has been to my detriment. I don't mind moderation as long as it is even and the same for everyone. Of course that is easier said than done and in my experience it is best when the mods stay in the background and don't participate in the discussions.

I have hilarious memories of TR but it is not something I would be interested in doing again. I used to like sparring with David Poole and another TR member who passed away a while back as it was all a game for me. Poole used to boot me and I would call up Bob Henry and get reinstated and that pissed Poole off which amused me. A lot of people did not care for Bob but I thought he was great as we had many shared interests. I doubt I will ever grow up or mature as what fun would that be?

Bob is here Bandit but u will have to find him

Good advice, Pete, and it is not worth it to me to get anyone jazzed up about things I found peculiar or funny. Speaking of peculiar or funny I found it both peculiar and funny that Ryan Newman could have won the Cup this year. Do people like the new way of crowning a champ? What do you think about Edwards leaving Roush and do you think that Jack's team will end up like Robert Yates? Will Roush have only 2 cars next year?

Not many I have read agree with this format of the chase. Can you believe the leader in the points (JG) doesn't get to race for the championship? As for the final race, the best car won so there is no arguments. I think I like the fact that you race 36 races and the one with the most points wins the championship, however I agree there should be a greater spread in points for the winner. Maybe Poole had something there. :pbjtime:

Howdy, Wynn, I hope everything is good down in H'Ville and the Charger is tucked away for the winter. I am running low on Wynn's wool remover and fools shoes so I may have to put in an order.
I completely sold out of Fool Shoes and Wool Remover when I was at NFP........:);):bsflag:

I heard Jeff had a good year but I thought he just won some races. I did not realize he was doing well in the points too. I like your idea of all the races counting but giving more points for wins.

Glad to see that, I was starting to think that O'l T Bird couldn't get this far.

:)
The Old T-Bird is doing well but now I have to reprogram my garage door opener
I let it out for an oil change and it went to the Bird bath
I'm screwed:(

Good morning folks

That's what I've heard, everytime I complain about the rain someone is going to remind me.
I notice in my old age more and more people are trying to remind me about many things.:)

Hello all,

I am disappointed to see EA going down, but I know nothing lasts forever. :flushed:
