Edwards will not be suspended

I'm all for letting the drivers show emotions but I'm glad they parked him there

I think I just found my new favorite driver. Kes had it coming.

Lost all respect for Edwards. You don't do something like that at Atlanta. Most veteran drivers would have put it in the bank and wait for Bristol or Martinsville to get back at him. I hope NASCAR parks him for the next point paying race.

Kesolowski deserved it. Maybe now he'll show some respect

I can't wait to see how NASCAR handles this one....

Let's see, Kes wrecks Carl and Joey and ruins their day. Carl wrecks Kes and ruins his day. Is that what they call an eye for an eye?

Maybe Keselowski will wreck the punk 99 at Bristol :p I didn't think the 12 did anything wrong earlier in the race. Carl came down on him

I see NASCAR was trying to hustle carl into the trailer before anyone else could talk to him.

I guess you are watching something different than I am.......Kes held his line and Edwards came across his nose. The EXACT same thing that happened last year in 'Dega

WE all know that Edwards was, in the words of the intimidator, "going to rattle his cage." Give me break. Kesolowski didn't care about Edwards or the fans well being at Talledgea. So, boo hoo, cry me a river.

Did you actually watch the Talledega race. Keslowski held his line right on the double yellow line and Carl came back down on his nose and wrecked himself.

Kes did not deserve to be wrecked out like that today. If Edwards has beef with him, wait two weeks for Bristol. Not pull that crap on one of the fastest tracks on the circuit.

You, my friend, must have the blinders if you think that Kesolowki is a saint. What goes around........

Came around like a sledge hammer. I bet we see a different Kes after that the rest of this season.

Oh Plueeze! You guys have short, cloudy memories.

Dude, they just reshowed the finish from Talladega during the yellow where Carl took Kes out. You are completely blind not to see that Kes was holding the yellow in the trioval when Carl tried to block him and then come down on his nose to wreck himself.

Back to today. If Edwards felt Kes did him wrong early in the race today he should have put it on the back burner till Bristol or Martinsville. Not at a speedway as fast as Atlanta.

This just goes to show that in this sport, emotion holds over everything else. If you don't like a certain driver, what ever happens to him will be to your liking, deservedly so or not. This happens all the time when one driver takes another out. It's racing and fans will always side with their favorites.

I doubt it will change is attitude.... IMO Kes didn't deserve what he got today. Yeh he has acted like a punk at times in both series, but spinning him on the front stretch doing 195 was not a very safe or bright thing do. Do it at Bristol or Martinsville i agree. Old cousin Carl is facing the wrath of the RED trailer, will be interesting to see how this one plays out.

Let me rephrase that statement...

Lets see, last year Carl and Kes gets together and Carl wrecks. This year Carl and Kes gets together and Carl wrecks taking him and Joey out of the race.

Carl takes Kes out and ruins his day.

Is that what they call and eye for an eye?

I was not laying any blame but I do know exactly what happened.

Now that I think about it, maybe Atlanta wasn't the best place to do that. I do think Kes had it coming though.

I'm not a Edwards fan or a Keslowski fan. It was obviously payback but I don't think Carl meant to put him air borne like that. Hey, Nascar wanted the drivers to get more aggressive, right.

I do not think 99 was trying to put him airborne, but I loved seeing the payback and letting the drivers sort it out. Yes, it would have been better at Bristol or Martinsville, but hey Carl probably thought Kes. wouldn't been running that well and it would not ruin his day. Taking a guy out running in the top 5 is true payback, especially when Carl is sitting in 40th. Was a bit surprised how calm Brad was in his interview.

I dont care for Kesolowski but that was completely uncalled for. Last at Talladega the crash happend because they where battling for the win of the race. Today Carl was like 150 laps behind and he wrecks him. Fans could of been seriously hurt and for what? So a guy 150 laps back can retaleate. If he is really that PO at Kes that wait till after the race and fight it out there.

Yes, Atlanta is not really the place to send the message. I'm sure that Carl only merely meant to spin him out and not send him on a flying lesson. But would Kesolowki get the message at Bristol or Martinsville? No. I'm sure that the only person in the garage that is mad is Denny because he couldn't do it first.

C'mon Buckaroo, you should know by now that reason has no place in an argument like this. (BTW I fully agree with you.)
