2015 can't come soon enough. :espnsux:

And the "blackout" just got lifted.

So I can't watch a race because a game that's not televised in our market anyways went long?

took them over 45 minutes to play 12 minutes on the clock..got to love stick n ball..plenty of action.:sarcasm:

College basketball is the worst - there was an NHRA race that was pre-empted a few years back because it took them an hour and a half to complete two minutes.

They had a college scoreboard for a buffer, and the snails pace game ran right thru that, and almost got into the race time.

Andy looks like you need to change cable providers.

Didn't they do the same thing with an Orioles game a few months ago?

Why do you keep calling Football, Basketball etc stick and ball? Did I miss something here?

Football. There is a ball involved. Basketball. There is a ball involved. Baseball. There is a stick involved. NASCAR = not stick & ball

Maybe you guys are finally seeing my point of view about ESPN...sure their commentators are better than Derpy Kyle Petty and Redneck Wannabe Waltrip, but their camera angles SUCK and its obvious they don't give 2 chits about NASCAR.

like fox puke 1 does? Cameras were great for qualifying, you could see them fighting the whel coming out of turn 4, and today they were good also, split screen showing the driver fighting the wheel and the car at the same time. That isn't the problem with either of them, they have to cut to stick n ball, no show or interviews before or after most of the time, and then fox puke has the gall to say they are number one in Nascar news..cough, cough, puke a little.

Kyle Petty really needs to go somewhere besides on my TV screen ------------ he really irritates me :crash:

Fox Sports 1 cut right to "stick n ball" sports? Funny. After the Truck Series race, they led off Fox Sports Live with Truck Series highlights, NASCAR Sprint Cup qualifying and a lengthy piece about Bubba Wallace.

Race coverage isn't the problem with ESPN. Their actual race coverage is pretty solid all things considered. It's their lack of commitment that's the problem.

Thats the trouble with Petty................he dont think much

KP will be the first person to say he wasn't a great driver and he's called himself an idiot several times. I like candid commentary much more than I like seeing commentators tip-toe to be PC. KP doesn't give a flip ****.

As long as they show Kyle and Samantha before the race starts im happy. Burns my butt if a stupid ball game messes that up

Matter of fact I enjoy all the shots of the drivers and their wives and children. seems like they are all part of the family

Thats true

Apparently some people will never understand blackout rules and what happens when a game runs late. Blaming the network for following the rules is foolishness at it's finest.

This thread is a head scratcher. If the game ran late, they weren't televising the race yet. The fact that it says 'nascar' is a meaningless function of the channel schedule.

The whole delay thing is a two-way street. How many times has a rain delay or a red flag caused a NASCAR race to cut into other programming?

It'll be great when NASCAR is top dog on NBCSN and we don't have the races shuffled around to accommodate football, golf, tennis, basketbore and chess.
Hmmm I bet that really doesn't happen, it will be just like the other networks do things.

NBCSN doesn't really have much besides the NHL and EPL/MLS. Motorsports - NASCAR in particular - is going to be their bread and butter come 2015.
