Starting next year I'm going to start tallying the number of times he says that year round. :D

If the off topic posts or personal attacks step over the line the mods are more than willing to step in and sort it out as some of you are aware of first hand.

hmmm I believe I am posting in a RACING FORUM? and again, if you have a problem with talking about the lack of racing coverage with the demise of SPEED this year and all forms of racing coverage being spotty at best or spread out all over the networks in a RACING FORUM and also seem to have a problem with the big elephant in the room which is RACING in all forms? I don't know what to tell ya. Get over it. you and "most of the rest of the world" would be welcome on a STICK N BALL forum. Does watching "the crowd goes wild" instead of a post race show get your wank on? Sorry dude, I would rather watch a lawnmower race, AND I should be able to discuss that here in a RACING FORUM.

Then thank god you found this forum.

You would not last a week on a general sports board. They'd make you cry with certainty.

Most of the forums I go to think NASCAR is the biggest joke for a sport this country has.

You have to broaden your horizon man. You live in a bubble.

Wow, this is some crazy stuff here, I am one of the few of maybe 50 people at work that are Nascar Fans, Maybe 5-10 of us. 3 like me that watch it religiously. Now college football more than half, MLB. Maybe 25% , NFL 25%. . I just can't see racing as the equal in popularity to any of these I mentioned. Maybe if you lumped all types of racing together. For live spectator sports College Football has to one or in the top 3. JMHO

I am not on a general sports board..can you see what it says up at the top..what does that say? RACING FORUM..this ain't no popularity contest with stick n ball to make the belly button me tooers feel better, and I don't care what forums you go to. And if I want to focus my time and effort into motorsports, makes sense I would do it in a racing forum. And I sure don't need a goof telling me I live in a bubble.

Now that that rant is over, try picking those keyboard letters off the floor you just finished dislodging. Jeez

This is why I came here. The CFB forum I post on (seldomly, now) tore NASCAR to shreds every chance it got.

I used to post on baseball-fever.com and there was a guy there who was neurotic about NASCAR. Bashed NASCAR every time he got, and brought it up even when it was apropos of nothing.

you would have much better luck taking your own advise, instead of giving it.

Seems to me you're the one always throwing insults at people like a petulant child.

I can go back and forth with you but I wont. You've proven time and again you're as immature as they get so reasoning with you is out of the question.

My apologies for telling it like it is. Now move along, OR you can talk to yourself all night for all I care.

I have had that my whole life, but I found a few buddies that liked to go to races when I was younger and we had a ball. we used to go to the knoxville motorcycle nationals every year..flat tracks. Last place I worked was 80% minority that didn't even know who Jimmy Johnson was. It doesn't matter..but my mistake is coming here and thinking there would be more fans of racing instead of oh yeah I go to racing forums too..for the ball scores. :)

Nope you are telling it like you think it is, but you don't know me dude. didn't ask or need your advice, go back to YOUR bubble.

There are other forums on this site where we talk about that stuff. I don't really see much "stick and ball" material in the NASCAR forum except with regard to TV networks.

As far as the original topic on this thread goes..... Andy, it looks like your problem is with DirecTV and not the network. I've watched all of my DVR'd racing recordings from last weekend and not one of them suffered from any sort of blackout that your screen displayed. Most times these issues are with the local provider of the service.

I know you're not a fan of ESPN but speaking as a fan of sports in general, I look forward to as many channels and options as I can get.

Please stop doing that. ;)

This is so inappropriate. Kids come on this site! ;)

And what's your point?

Its not a guide on how to kill yourself.

I say any "kids" that have access to the internet has seem far worst.

Hell, I've seem worst stuff posted on this very forum, probably by you too.

Everyone here always has some type of issue with what is posted. People here need to grow a pair or just completely ignored what is being posted. Period.

I have Direct TV and mine was fine.

I think it was a regional issue. Blackouts are done by location. He was probably the victim of that.
I've never had blackout issues where I live so I don't know what the criteria is for a regional blackout. A non sellout at a sports arena of some sort I guess.

Yeah, we don't have to worry too much about that here either. I've never had one affect me but I'm sure I'd be pissed if it did. Especially when we pay as much as we do for the cable/satellite services.

As soon as the sign up discounts expire after a year the cost is ridiculous.
