F1: 2020 Hungarian Grand Prix

Maybe things will go horribly wrong when Hamilton pits for fastest lap.

Lol they released Hamilton into insane traffic.

Those tires on Lewi's cars are mega dead. He murdered them in 2 laps. Holy ****.

LOL a quarter of the grid is under investigation. Renault filed another protest against Racing Point, both Haas for the formation lap, Albon for the hairdryers.

I'm irritated as hell after hearing this.
Because the engineer told him to go into Race Start mode at the pit exit it sounds like.

I know a few years ago they clamped down on what kind of communication you can have but...really?

Apparently it was actually just telling them to pit. Okay. Whatever you say. I guess no one can go off strategy at the start anymore or just have the driver do whatever he wants. Still got a point I guess.

Sounds like the most exciting part of the race was all the protests.

Maybe the rules are too complicated?
It was okay by Hungary standards. There’s been far worse there. Not a barnburner by any stretch of the imagination though.

Ridiculous rule too.

:lol2:

Dont they anyways? When they say box, box? What are they doing?

Ridiculous. But I guess there is some consistency there at least.

Rosberg got nailed for being "coached" a couple of years ago.

Lol at least be consistent. Come on.

Lewis spins off Albon - 5 second penalty
Bottas blew the start - No penalty
Red Bull deliberately dries Albons starting spot - No penalty
K-Mag comes up with the plan to pit - 10 seconds

The lack of consistency hurts my feelings. Actually, Kvyat did the same thing with Alpha Tuari, but the engineers did not answer back...

That’s what I don’t get it, you obviously can tell them to box at any other point but can’t tell them to box on the formation lap? So the driver is supposed to pull off and pit without the team being ready or you just can’t pit at all on formation laps anymore?

What an inane rule.
