Where will you watch the Sun. race from? Ticketed seat or gen. adm. and just move around?
I am going to look around and see if I can find some lap times on Hartley /WEC vs. Toro Roso last year.
Just hope he keeps the nose clean this first race. I am telling you, the dude is a serious shoe.
GRRRREAT for you! Send us some pictures please!
Sounds good DUN24. Raceday I would probably just work the front straight from T1 back to
T20 and see if you cant make it near the podium for the champagne spray. Pack a poncho
just in case. You have a good chance of seeing a 30' rooster tail this weekend which is a
spectacle in itself.

Gluck's entry for Friday morning:Pretty interesting view/comparison from a Nascar reporter at the F-1 event

Red S - Supersoft tireOkay, so I'm looking at practice. Would someone explain a couple of things to me?
What do the red S / purple U / green I indicate?
About the 'Verstappen' icon on the right side of the screen: I assume it's a driver name, but is the blue squiggle significant of anything or is it just a generic graphic? Why is this icon used sometimes and other times an icon with telemetry is used instead?
We complain a lot about NASCAR broadcasters over explaining everything, but part of my problem when I glance at F1 is that I have trouble telling what's going on beyond the big picture.
EDITED: and now there are yellow S icons too.

I'm using the Blackend style so it works on my end but I could see how that would be a problem...I'll bet you thought that yellow font was a good idea.
LOL ! ! ! You Millennial !!!Well, that should hold me until Memorial Day and Monaco. Cup practice is starting...
Monaco and Austin are literally the only races / circuits on the schedule I can name.LOL ! ! ! You Millennial !!!
That's awesome, its great you can have that control. I caught the F1 bug in '83 and it has never let me go!Monaco and Austin are literally the only races / circuits on the schedule I can name.
Oh, and we 'Millennials' don't have to worry about registration with our new-fangled cable subscriptions.
Another difference between F1 and NASCAR. She could charge a fee and NASCAR fans would be lined up to pay.

A cheerful woman with a British accent is asking people in the paddock to ride this. So far no takers that I’ve seen. #F1
It's not control as much as I haven't caught that particular bug. Plus, between NASCAR, IndyCar, and IMSA, my schedule is loaded down enough! That's awesome, its great you can have that control. I caught the F1 bug in '83 and it has never let me go!
These online registrations drive me nuts. I can never remember my sign on info or where I put it if I wrote it down.
Holy **** I didn't know they would be there.Austin traffic is worse than LA. I sh!t you not.
Didn't get a chance to see any practice today but we did make it in time to watch the Historic F1 qualifying. God those cars are something else. The sound, smell... hnnnggggggg
Holy sh!t I didn't know they would be there.
