 Geez!

One can't help but wonder what would have happened had Jr. been leading when the caution flew.
Somehow deep down, I truly believe that the reason for the outrageous behavior was that several dipsticks were unhappy that Earnhardt was moved to second. Maybe I am wrong (it wouldn't be the first time) but something tells me that if Earnhardt would have been at the top of the leader board and the race had finished under caution, there would have been nothing but celebration out of those yahoos.

i was there, and came out smellin like budlight, thats what i get for seating 3 rows from the track!
Good thing they were drinking LITE beer - they may have thrown each other if they were swilling the good stuff.

I also have a feelin' that it may have had a lot to do with DEJr not winning.

The sad thing is that it may come a time when those who know how to act will not be able to enjoy a few cold ones in the stands while watching a race.

i should ad that where I live, there are very few places left where one can drink in public and it MUST be in a plastic glass.

wish i had a scanner, but my luck i would not know what buttions to hit, i was trying to watch what ones you was hittin in the bush race it would take me a while to figger that out.

Dont see how anyone could think the fans were throwing stuff on the track because of the race ending under caution. There have been several several races ending under caution that fans have delt with. Did people forget about bristol that quick. Not to mention the busch race the day before.

Anyone notice how when the fans thought jr was in the lead everyone was celebrating, then when jr was put in second those celebrations turned to boos. Also if they were mad about the cautions, why would they direct there objects at jeff.

I didn't know it was in the Nascar rule book that Junior HAS to win at Dega....If I were Junior I'd be too ashamed to call those morons my fans.

They did the same at Daytona one year, when the race ended under caution.

They threw seat cushions on the track that year when Mikey Waltrip won I think.

They never said for sure.........but I think it was both from some of the comments made while it was happening.

Anyone who wants to whine about how NASCAR has ruined racing can....nevermind I do not want to get ripped for using the word shove it the wrong way.
I've heard about enough of this crap. If you would care to discuss this thru PM, that 's fine, but if not leave it alone.

And, I don't believe it was necessary to say this either!
