You explained the whole thing The Allisons were a tight group. DW pissed people off . They didn't like that.( short story)

I remember when DW sent Davey for a "wild ride" through the infield grass at Pocono, and Davey was pretty badly hurt. The next week I believe they were racing at Dega... Alabama... where the Allison's were from. lol

Poor old DW looked like a whipped puppy from all the hate he was getting over that. It seemed like he was begging for his life when they interviewed him at the track about the incident with Davey.

Talladega fans ain't nothin' to f*** with.

Well there are some fine people in dega. But you should know there are certain things you don't do or say!!!
1 . Roll tide!! Is how they greet you
Never ever disagree with that

2. Don't mess with the Alabama gang!!

Follow those rules and you'll be fine
 
Jeff Gordon. I liked the Labontes a lot too but they are more or less retired now.

Haven't had a favorite NW/Trucks driver since Jason Keller and Jack Sprague.

I like Larson and Mears among others, but wouldn't classify them as favorites. Been a diehard Gordon fan since '94, can't imagine calling anyone else my favorite.
 
Just realized that every winner this season is more or less on my favorites list.
 
- Jeff Gordon, though he has been making it difficult for me to be a fan lately with his view on the chase and his sponsor next week.
- Kurt Busch - Everyone gets angry from time to time, and I hate that he lost a top ride due to that. Glad he has another top ride now.
- Carl Edwards, since he has criticized the new chase.
- Ricky Stenhouse, since I was a fan of his in the NW.
