There may already be a thread over in the Podium on this. I don't know because I don't go there.

Regardless of beliefs on the guilt or innocence of the police office why do people take this crap out on their own community. How is the decision that was reached any excuse to go out and do what these people are doing to their own. Burning cars, businesses, looting, etc..... Personally, I don't think it made a bit of difference whether or not charges were filed against this police officer, the results last night would have been the same. There is no excuse for actions like that, absolutely none.

Because people are just stupid. Protesting in that way if you can even call that protesting I say it's rioting won't solve a damn thing.

Damn straight. It was just an excuse to riot and nothing more. I believe that regardless of what was announced yesterday, all of this was going to happen.
Pretty much, if he was found guilty they would riot and say it's out of celebration or some crap. Most of them probably didn't care either way what happened.

It was totally disgusting what happened last night. Certain people wonder why they get treated like they do

I was only 3, I wouldnt know. One of my L.A. friends posted it.
I've got some years on ya. :D

Try googling the attack on Reginald Denny. Watch a video on that to get a sense of what was happening on that day in LA and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

Image etched in my mind forever.

It was absolutely sickening watching the live coverage of it! It was nothing more than an excuse to cause destruction. They wanted to show support for Michael by breaking windows, burning buildings, looting and stealing anything and everything they could get their hands on. I seriously hope that that town is finished, because they don't deserve to have any of those businesses rebuild. The population is roughly 21,000 people and I would not be surprised if it was there was 25% less by this time next year. You could tell how disgusted the police were during the news conference. They basically know that that's the end of their town.

What pi$$es me off the most is that it seems that the members of the community seem to be blaming the police for not doing enough to protect the community and prevent these businesses from being looted or burned down. They don't seem to lay any blame on the actual people that are doing the looting or burning down. Rather than a call out to their own people to do the right thing, it's the police's fault for not doing enough to prevent this. I guess I am having a hard time relating to this because when things don't go my way I don't give thoughts to stealing or arson or even assault.

Totally agree these morons blamed the police and their heavy presence last month, now they b1tch because the police did what they wanted.

Well, I guess I've got a few years on most of you. They did the same crap in Watts in 1965. Dumb asses

I've always said that being apart of the police force is one of the most stressful jobs in America. To be able to make a split second decision at that moment... Yeah, what should have not occurred. When you're wrong, you're wrong. Brown should have never stole in the first place, but I still believe to fear over your life over a man with no gun in the first place... Shoot the man to immbolize, but as I said I was not in the shoes of the officer. I could only imagine what was going though the mind of officer Wilson.

I wish Ferguson would not have come to this with the burning and looting. I heard some of the police chatter as well via Ustream... Very, very disturbing stuff. Just speaks volumes to how ignorant some are... The family should not have said such thing.

I believe that the Race Baiters and the Liberal Media had alot to do with all of this. Black on Black crime doesn't make the news. Black on White crime doesn't make the news. White on Black crime and Al Sharpton and Jessy Jackson go shooting their mouths off and gets everyone stirred up, and the media whips it out of proportion. my 2 cents worth.

How does one "shoot to immobilize" in a split second encounter ? Police are trained to shoot center mass .......... when the gun leaves the leather its killing time. Many officers that are killed are shot with their own weapons, Brown had already tried to get Wilsons gun, only a fool would allow that big thug to get another chance at his weapon.

We've got to remember that this one isn't in the podium. If we're not careful It'll get sent there.

I agree with all, but I would never shoot to immobilize,

That's because Al Shaprton only cares about Al Sharpton. His goal is getting his face on TV.

Dead is considered immobilized :)
Damn fine observation there Bobby. Here's your gold star.

So, with kids and so many others in the area the man waving around his gun. This is dangerous, the man had a gun filled with people in a park. He was not arrested due to the caller saying "The man wanted to commit suicide."

The video explains itself and that is an example of immobilization. Not to kill, but to ensure that the criminal is shot to get away from his weapon. The man was in the hospital and able to live.

@Kyle18fan this is the response to your previous post to quoting mine.
