Yeah this would have been a very good race with zero cautions. Just more proof imo that stage racing is way superior to any prior points system.

No, I think it's more about the car he drives....but you are correct. Joey is fabulous on the super speedway tracks....he would side draft a guy in a wheelchair to get to the cereal aisle in a grocery store first.

Rhetorical question. Just saying, maybe he gets more room and these types of things happen to him less, if he's not re-igniting rivalries while he's 24 laps down?

I think Denny knew who was on his outside and didn't care if he used him up. Not intentional to straight up wreck him, but definitely intentional to be on his door and give him the least respect possible, if it so happened that Logano ended up in the wall because he made a mistake then so be it.

Ok that’s plausible. But I think it was a screw up by Denny. If he did ANY of that intentionally, pretty stupid move as it could have screwed his car up as bad.

This is typical Denny at seasons end when everything is on the line and
he loses his focus AGAIN. He also tried to take out Brad and it didn't work.
I think he is looking for another excuse to fail.

I hope...hand it to Martin. He’s pretty bland but a good champ.

Agreed. Denny has been running great all year and if he would mind his own business he'd have more of a shot.

Joey aint my favorite. But I respect him. He has had adversity on the track at Talladega, Martinsville, and Texas and he has survived very well in spite of it so far. He fights and scraps for the points, and he is tough in the elimination races.
There are many times when I believe he is a better driver than Brad.

I agree and I like Brad more.

There is some truth to being the son of Tom and all that stuff that Tony, Denny, Matt have said in the past, but Joey is a hell of a wheelman.
 
I would like to see Joey get a new CC next season and his current CC go over to WB again and coach Matt.

What's wrong with Todd Gordon? Honestly the Penske cars just look a little off right now compared to SHR & Gibbs.

I think Todd is the kind of guy that plays the odds and because of that he really brings the wrong car to the track. (Sometimes) Joey is a hard charging driver that goes all out for the win. Maybe this is a good combination, I don't really know, I would just like to see how he does with say a Chad type guy.
 
Will Hamlin see the 22 pull alongside him on the racetrack at Homestead and get 'nam flashbacks?
 
It will be great to watch Joey riding the corner panel of the #11
next week. Not to hard to get into Denny's head. A great moment would be Denny sandwiched between the #9 and #22 heading for the checkers.

Yup. 22 has nothing to lose. Hope he makes the 11 life miserable with all Denny’s chirping. Did he ever respond to Smoke’s offer to kick his ass?
