Got Ebola yet?

A week later and they're still looking for people that came in contact with this guy? Meanwhile his condition has been changed to critical. Hopefully they've got this all under control.

Ebola virus disease: Potential use of melatonin as a treatment.

Melatonin ... melatonin ... where have I heard of that stuff before. Oh, yeah ... it's the stuff that makes people's skin's dark. Yeah, none of that in Liberia, is there?

We're effin doomed.
Melatonin is used to control the sleep/wake cycle. Although others apply it to the skin to lower the chances of sunburn.

I died laughing :lol2::lol2:

I've been reading some of the material my kid uses in teaching her EMS classes about this virus. There is no hard and fast knowledge how long the virus can live outside of the host. There's very specific protocols for removing the suit.
I had written about suit removal on another forum.

This is a post C&P'd from there;'
Let me tell you about removing a suit. I worked in the nuclear industry for a good portion of my career and you do not realize how easy it is to get crapped up. There are practical's to reduce the risk but it is always there. But one mistake and you are wearing the crap. I would have to say its the same thing for this kind of a virus.

"Even one infection in the US is unacceptable" but yet we still have plane loads of people arriving from west africa. Yay :rolleyes:

Govt cant control anything. We dont have a plan for anything at any time. Let this be a lesson for all you govt loving socialists.
Now they have said that there were 70 people who were in contact with Duncan to care for him like that nurse.

Well, if this is true then this is very cool.

@vplus

JUST IN: Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg donating $25 million to CDC to fight Ebola

Government can do anything when properly funded, something the right doesn't grasp.

Second nurse who tested positive for Ebola flew on Frontier Airlines flight 1143 Cleveland to Dallas on Oct. 13.
CDC asks all 132 passengers on Frontier Airlines flight 1143 Cleveland to Dallas/Fort Worth on October 13 to call 1 800-CDC INFO.

@TheOrangeCone

Maybe if you're a worker in the medical ward treating an Ebola patient, taking a flight right afterwards isn't a great idea.

Ain't that the truth?
