Yes Tony did wreck half the field but I'd rather watch Tony wreck half the field every weekend while trying to win over Greg "no balls" Biffle who settled for 2nd place cause he didn't have the balls to wreck Harvick for that block.

I'm sure it would have been a different story had it been a race that mattered.

Just like how Biffle made no effort to pass Kenseth last year during the Daytona 500? Biffle is a joke.

Teammates I guess? Or Biffle knew he didn't have the horses to pass him? C'mon man. It's the 500. As much as I can't stand Biffle, if he could have won the race I'm sure he would have tried don't you think? In my opinion, he was setting up for the final turn like they always do, but then Jr. pulled out from behind Biffle and quit pushing him. We know there was no way he was going to make that pass without the 88's help.

I'd have to drag up the thread from last year but this board was pretty 50-50 from what I remember on whether or not Biffle stayed back and blocked on purpose.

That being said, Biffle has always been and always will be one of the biggest pussies in the sport.

I do agree that they are, Kenseth was his teammate at least but Harvick isn't and it was a decently tight block. A lot of guys would have moved Harvick out of their way for that block last night.

I remember a post last year saying that every driver he's ever talked to says "don't block me more than once or the final lap or you'll end up in the infield."

In the race last lear, Kenseth wasn't blocking Biffle as he basically blocked himself by playing good teammate. It's also possible that #88 waited to long to make his move but we'll never know the answer to that.

We saw Matt never make a move and push David Reagan to his only win to try and help him get sponsorship, so it's possible Biffle did the same thing for Matt. Those 2 had themselves set up for a win a few times and then messed up the tandem, so I tend to believe Biffle was just confused as to what to do without costing both the win.

He probably was and also had a mirror full of the #88.

It's all split second decisions and it's easy to believe he just hesitated and then just settled in for 2nd.

I remember Biffle jockying around on that last lap but I'm not sure if was trying to get the #17 loose or break the #88's momentum

I'm not sure he knows either. I do remember that Matt's car was very fast and everyone had trouble staying on his bumper. All it would take is one glance back at Jr. to lose contact, and maybe that's what hapened. I wanted to see a good side-by-side finish and it did look like Biffle just rode for 2nd, but I doubt it was that simple.

OK, so I'm way behind. Two full pages of everyone all over BobbyFord. His bitterness over Mikey being proud of the fact that he won a Daytona 500 is mind boggling to me. I mean just outright hate spewing from him over it. o_O

Harvick after the win "I think I broke it" LMFAO!!!

When did Kennesth become Mr Restrictor Plate?

When did Kennesth become Mr Restrictor Plate?

A couple of years ago when he finally realized that he had to pick a lane and stay in it instead of bouncing around the track looking for a push.

Harvick after the win "I think I broke it" LMFAO!!!

When did Kennesth become Mr Restrictor Plate?

when he put together six consecutive top 5 finishes in plate races

(includes last year's second duel race, last year's four points races, and last night's race)

If I had any sense I would stay out of this, but...

I attended the Darlington race that Lake Speed won. Lake didn't have a remarkable career, but he usually ran good there. I wouldn't call the win a fluke.
I was sitting in turn 4 under the covered stands (this is prior to them flipping the flag stand and front stretch to the other side) when Lake entered what is presently turn 1 (or old turn 3) he was clearly in a class by himself during that 1988 event. He ran on rails slightly lower then the rest and that's were he beat the competition that day. I was shaking my head and thinking that car just eats in that corner.

I can see why some would call Copes Daytona win a fluke. But even as a fan of old Iron Head Earnhardt, I think Copes win was legitimate and righteous. Dale was the class of the field and had it in the bag. But Cope demonstrated one of Childress's best quotes that day "preparation meets opportunity".

Often the fastest car looses to late race misfortune, but the winner or 2nd fastest still had to beat 41cars to seize the moment.
Cope also won at Dover for Bob Whitcomb that year, and they probably didn't have as much money to race with as the top teams.

The biggest fluke imo was Greg Sacks 85 Firecracker win. It was a one off Digard R&D car, crew chiefed by Gary Nelson, it was probably massively cheated up to no end.

Don't really care for MW, but he is good on the RP tracks that isn't just luck , anymore than Harvick or Kenseths RP skills. MW just didn't demonstrate as much ability at the other tracks.
