It's not that serious
Harvick did a nice job there. This new car has completely changed how they have to work the air.
He said winning the 500's defined his career. That's complete truth. Lol I see nothing wrong with saying that. I don't think he was bragging, just mentioning that winning the 500 is a highlight for most drivers that win.
I look at it like this. It might only be one race, but it's one big race. A Daytona 500 winner is something to be happy about for the rest of your life. For the rest of his life, if nothing else, he will be a Daytona 500 champion. Crap shoot or not, his name is etched in history.Jeez four wins out of a lifetime of racing ain't grounds for any kind of bragging.
The Daytona 500 is a crapshoot, at best.

It used to be, before the restrictor plates. Now, it's just a crapshoot.I look at it like this. It might only be one race, but it's one big race. Your just mad because they did it in Chevys. It used to be, before the restrictor plates. Now, it's just a crapshoot.
Winning the Daytona 500 has lost all credibility. Especially when Michael Waltrip and Derricke Cope's names are etched in the NASCAR history books

Yeah, not so much.
It's because one lop won four races out of 770 starts and the other lame won two out of 409 attempts
At that point it becomes moot.
Ahh, you sound logical now...I'm only using your logic.
Ahh, you sound logical now
Right. So Darlington, New Hampshire, and Bristol races have all lost credility. Gotcha.
Heck, Mears has 1 win in what, 350ish starts? We might as well add Charlotte to your list as well.
So Bristol has lost credibility cause Regan Smith won it? New Hampshire has lost credibility cause Joe Nemechek won it? The Championship has lost credibility since Brad Keselowski won it?
FYI -- Regan Smith won Darlington, not Bristol.
Don't forget to add Atlanta (Jerry Nadeau), Rockingham (Johnny Benson) and Dover (Martin Truex) to Bobby's list.

Neither of which are restrictor plate tracks.
I just thought I would point that out.
No. It's because plate tracks ARE actually a crapshoot. But his logic is that RP races are a crapshoot because drivers who never win have won them, which is why the other tracks are being brought up.
No. It's because plate tracks ARE actually a crapshoot.
Not. There are currently only TWO plate tracks.
How many road course wins do Michael and Derricke have, combined?

You's twos rookie is showin.
A good driver has multiple wins on every type of track on the NASCAR schedule.Michael Waltrip does suck and always did but I'm trying to get my head around what the criteria is for a driver who is...
Fan since '89. Far from a rookie. You have flawed logic, and it's been proven. No reason to hate.

'89; is that NINETEEN 89? LOL! I got socks that old (I use 'em for shop rags.)Fan since '89. Far from a rookie. You have flawed logic, and it's been proven. No reason to hate.
No one's ever flown out...Since you're new to the forum, this is how it works... continue arguing with him. Somewhere along the line, call Carl Edwards or Kyle Busch a puss, call Bobby a dickhead and he'll fly you out to Los Angeles and buy your race tickets at Fontana and buy you some cold IPAs.

Nothing wrong with plate racing. Anyone who wins either Daytona or Talladega should be as proud...if not more than any other track..IMHO
No, because I have a shop and you don'tCongratulations? Am I supossed to be impressed because you have old shop rags?
No, because I have a shop and you don't
