Hamlin's wins at Darlington both encumbered

Interesting right before the playoffs they start finding stuff. Despite NBCSN not showing cars from the rear going down the straight hardly at all, I saw a couple shots and the cars were dog tracking like crazy. a blind man could see it.

Saw the same thing. I was wondering if NASCAR would "notice" it.

Denny Hamlin has had three encumbered victories this year. Driving his ass off, man. I presume that this is a record. Is it?

Read elsewhere that the cleanest victory this weekend now belongs to Austin Cindric.

Quality! :lol2:

I dislike Denny the DB but seriously doubt if he bolted the rear end housing into his cup car ....... the blame for that lies elsewhere. Its like the light connecting rod in the 20 ............ Kenseth was most likely unaware of that situation and didn't have an advantage either

That really is the best point of the weekend.

.... and Cindric was nothing but honest and straight forward in is post race interview.

(Grala even agreed he knew it was coming, just did not expect it at that part of the track.)

I'd really like to know where this ''encumbered' term has come from ....... and just how it affects anything.....

NASCAR's new buzzword. People will probably be scolded for mentioning it in a few years. It'll be called something else then.

People be like, "cucumbered errrrr handicapped win".

You dislike Denny, but love Kyle?

I hope you have enough Maxi pads for the both of them.lol

Grala also said he lost a little respect for him that day. He even said "Say what you will about last years finish here, but dang atleast they were-side by-side crossing the line."

Gibbs must of been mad they lost to Jermey Clements the week before so really cheated up the Xfinity car, per usual.

Why cant Denny win a race with an uncheated up car like Clements did?

Just because Denny car wasn't illegal don't mean all Toyotas was set up the same .. I'm sure if Kyle car was set up like this he would have dominated! He didn't have any speed really when they unloaded of the truck.. he was looking for speed the whole weeken.... they will be just fine.. that's the first time they have found anything on the Toyotas well Toyota..

Goodyear is against Kyle B though....

From what I have read it means Nascar takes away any advantages the win gave you. An example is #22 car, he loses the advantages of "win and your in" so he had to win another race or get in on points. From what I have seen since the encumbered win, he won't be in the chase this year.
Although the driver keeps the win and points, Nascar will give monetary penalties as well as points. The team loses but the driver still has wins to his credit.

IN, before the T0y0ters fan boyz cry foul.

So was all the JGR cars running the same setup? Is this something new and NASCAR just caught on to it?

Revman must be in hiding.

Revman here. Said it would happen. Search. You will see. Part of the game. Said that too. This weekend will be fascinating. I love this sport.

JGR is a "Repeat Offender" (Raising Arizona). NASCAR should remove Pious Joe Gibbs and his racing teams from competing further in any NASCAR Series pending a full review of their operations. Team Penske should go through the same process.

Both Hamlin and Logano should be removed from NASCAR competition for the rest of the year.
Their Crew Chiefs on their second cheating penalty should be removed for a full season.
Their Owners should be banned from all NASCAR properties until they have proven their operations and team climate/culture are not conducive to cheating.
Racing is not Cheating -- Cheating is fictional Racing: like Denny Hamlin's incredible comeback -- pure fiction.
Fixing a race by cheating should be handled as a crime by Law Enforcement.
The collection of prize money from cheating should be handled as a crime by Law Enforcement.
RICO statutes should be followed to reveal and punish Organized Corruption.

Due to family circumstances,Darlington was the only race we could make this year.I can't tell you how disgusted I am with NASCAR.

That narrative needs to take hold and be shouted from the rooftops by fans who feel that way, if there is to be any chance NASCAR will ever reverse course on this issue. Their lame rationale has always been that the audience would feel cheated by watching a result that is rescinded and changed after the fact. Since it's all about the show, the only way it will change is if there are more (or louder) fans who feel just the opposite.

^^ Yeah.

I've often wondered why the EPA has never done anything about all that dirty air.

Grala never said any of that. Interview starts at 15:48. Cendric's B.S. starts @ 18:30
