I wish they had this guy do the rest of the HMS schemes. The last few years they hired real designers for the Ally and Hooters cars, and it shows. Meanwhile, look at the crap they put out for most of the 9 and 24. Byron's new HP scheme came out this morning and it looks like a backup car with a logo slapped on

Hey @Revman, new primary for the 24. Would you look at the lower skirts, they are Hamlin nerf proof and wow the power dome hood! It's in rice burner white also.

While I'm not a huge fan of the overall look, I can at least appreciate what they were going for. They actually put some thought into this one and followed the body lines of the car. The stripe that goes above the side windows looks a bit goofy, but has an old school feel to it. Good effort, decent execution. Certainly a million times better than random shapes and lines

Ray might be the single most important employee in the history of HMS. Ray raised the bar to levels never seen there, or probably anywhere else. Just about everything good that has ever happened to that organization has Ray's fingerprints in it somewhere. Younger fans probably do not realize just how average HMS truly was before Ray and Jeff walked in the door.

The massive gap between Jimmie/Jeff to everyone else always makes me laugh. Who knows what the organization would look like without those 2? Heck, 13 of their 15 championships are from the top 3 drivers here. Willy B needs to join the list next.

Has any race team fielded 3 drivers who have all won championships for the organization during the same era of competition?

The "Larson may struggle with this format" stuff has never made sense. Stage points matter A LOT in today's Nascar. This format is not going to help anyone or hurt anyone. It's just going to legitimize the champion and eliminate the freak champions
I agree 100% with the second part of that, but it absolutely DOES hurt drivers that thrived on the win and you're in format, and drivers that have been horribly inconsistent, and I'm fine with that. I think if you're drivers like SVG, AD, Suarez, McDowell, Berry, etc, it HAS to be a concern, and even drivers like Logano, Blaney and KB have to see it as an obstacle to a high seed in the Chase. That is not to say that ANY of these drivers can't overcome it, but I think it makes the road harder for some than others. I think even Larson might have to look a little more big picture on certain days. On the other hand, I think if you look at the drivers that have regularly been a threat to win the regular season title under the playoff format, they have to feel pretty good about things.
