Hey Chevrolet, Why the SS and not the Impala?

What's your point, SOI? The Toyota is inferior because it's built in rural America? Or that the folks who live in rural America are beneath your lofty standards? Are you some East Coast highly-edumicated elitist or something?

Would you prefer it if the Toyota trucks were all built in Japan (or Mexico) instead of in rural America? How does the fact that they don't use UAW workers cheapen the people who actually build them - or, for that matter, the brand?

The cost of doing "business" with the United Auto Workers Union in Detroit is what drove Chrysler, FORD and GM to start building cars in Canada and Mexico - where they pay their workers in Canadian Dollars and Pesos - not in good ol' American Greenbacks as they do in rural America!

BTW, the word English should be capitalized when used in a sentence, my friend.

The fact that he thinks South Texas is rural America lost all credibility with me.

Been thru there many many times going to Laredo on the border, I 35 all the way south junior. Last town of any size until the border(that is rural Jeffy). Pull up google map and look for yourself. Run 281 south out of San Antone to McAllen and it is even more deserted. I would learn a little more geography if I were you. It is easy to throw around big words like credibility. I don't need any of your idea of credibility , you have already proven you don't know what you are talking about, and the robster above isn't current with his info either. Caterpillar is threatening to move to the U.S. out of Canada because the Americans will work for $15.75 . Cheaper than the 18.00 plus they have to pay the Canadians. Robby, you need to read a bit before you jump to conclusions and try to put words in my mouth that I didn't say. Don't think that will happen though, not one word I said Toyota was inferior, this was in answer to unfair trade practices, false advertising, and trade deficit. I still don't think you will understand the topic, and I am done splainin myself. Go buy a foreign car..their great for our economy. Get with Toy Yoda, he will get ya a deal on one. ..over and out. yep that's right I'm done, now you can jump in and start yip yappin, the big dog has left. I would still buy "The Generals" SS over any foreign make.

San Antonio (plants location), Corpus Christi/Coastal Bend Area (where I live by way), Laredo, and Rio Grande Valley Area (McAllen, Brownsville, Edinburg, Harlingen, South Padre Island) is anything but rural. Is there plenty of land and ranches? Yes, but population wise it isn't rural at all. Unless you think 5 million people is rural. If South Texas was a state it would be the 26th largest state population wise.

B I would still buy "The Generals" SS over any foreign make.

It's effen made in effen Australia!! I'd consider that "foreign"...

Go buy a foreign car..their great for our economy.

I did! In 2002 I bought a supercharged MINI Cooper. Best car I have ever owned!

THEY ARE (they're) owned by a German company (BMW) and built in England (Oxford).
