I would just cry if JJ wadded up his car while qualifying and had to go to the back.

NOT! :D

Bowyer takes out Bad Brad then to make it even he takes out JJ, Bad Brad wins it all by 1 point.

Sounds good to me. The excitement of this chase will need a boost. If this comes down to a RACING deal costing Kez the championship, I could deal with it better if it weren't going to JJ again. It sure would be nice to have Bowyer still in it too.

And if Kez wins to me its one huge middle finger in the face of Fiat. Think about it Dodge wins the championship and they have no team for next year, Fiat are a bunch a**holes.

I wonder how Brad will like being second fiddle to Carl Edwards.

From what I've seen Fiat cares very little about racing in Their grand scheme of things :( I feel for the Racing Guys at Chrysler who've been beating their heads against the wall. Maybe someday they'll be able to buy themselfs back out of this mess.

Two streaks could end: Two streaks are on the line this weekend in the Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. In March 2002, #78-Kurt Busch won his first NSCS race at Bristol. That victory was the first of 24 and marked the start of a 10-year streak in which he posted at least one win annually. Busch's streak could come to an end in 2012 if he does not cross the finish line first this weekend. In 11 starts at the track, Busch has one victory and four top-five finishes.
After 11 years of capturing at least one pole every year, #39-Ryan Newman's streak is also in jeopardy this weekend. With 49 career poles, Newman has yet to post a pole in 2012. The last year he didn't have a pole was in 2000, when he ran only one event. Newman has no poles and three top-10 finishes in 10 races at Homestead.(NASCAR), Newman's streak ended as he failed to win the pole at Homestead and didn't win a pole in any 2012 race.(11-17-2012)

Looks like Newman's streak is over.

Hendrick seeking first Sprint Cup Series win at Homestead: Hendrick Motorsports has yet to win a Sprint Cup race at Homestead-Miami Speedway despite having five-time Champion Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and some of the top drivers in the sport since the first Sprint Cup Series visit to HMS in 1999. Adding further to this challenge is that fellow Hendrick teammates Kasey Kahne and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. are also winless at Homestead-Miami Speedway. All told Hendrick Motorsports is 0-51 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Gordon has claimed one Homestead-Miami victory but it was in the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2000. Four-time NASCAR Champion Jeff Gordon has yet to win on just two tracks&Kentucky and Homestead-Miami Speedway.(HMS)(11-16-2012)

He should have raced like he was a contender. :D

NASCAR National Series Clinch Scenarios Set For Homestead: #2-Brad Keselowski leads five-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion #48-Jimmie Johnson by 20 points going into Ford Championship Weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Keselowski clinches his first NASCAR Sprint Cup championship with a finish of 15th or better; or 16th and at least one lap led; or 17th and the most laps led, even if Johnson wins and leads the most laps. All other drivers have been eliminated from championship consideration.(NASCAR)

After 11 tries, JJ's average finish at Homestead is 13.5...why is everyone in the media talking about him getting max points?

JJ finishes 10th, Brad finishes 29th and is champ.

6 tries and 5 parade lap races.

Denny, Biffle and Logano wreck in practice.

Now Brad gets to start outside of Ambrose on a slick track.

If Brad wins the prize, I will be a happy camper. Next year if Dodge is not in the hunt I will be watching "The Waltons" or something besides Nascar.

One little slip into that first corner could make for a very interesting day...I'm all for it :)

Logano says he’ll help future teammate Keselowski by picking inside lane tmrw. That means Brad will move up to front row. (inside)

Haha....

Bob Pockrass@bobpockrass
NASCAR is saying it will not give Joey "choice" of taking inside, it will dictate he will start in inside. Rule stats discretion of #NASCAR.

Never heard that one before.

Are you a Brad fan because he and Jr are friends, or do you like his driving attitude?

Good to have you onboard either way, but I'm just wondering.

I liked Brad ever since the Truck race where he took over for Ted Musgrave, but also part of me cheering for him to win the championship is cause I don't wanna see Johnson win.

Just so I know... you're cool with a "future" teammate helping your driver but will it be okay for a now teammate to help Johnson?

I've been watching how Jeff, and to a lesser extent Kahne, have raced Brad throughout the chase. JJ gets plenty of help. Then there's Jeff handing him 2nd place in the points.

lol Relax, it's just lane choice.

I was kind of thinking the same thing.
