I'd like to retract a statement(s) I made earlier in this thread. Not that it matters, but, I said JG didn't spin his tires on that restart. I watched again a couple times and it was pretty clear he did. I'm actually kinda surprised I wasn't attacked for it. Anyway I still believe the ensuing melee was because Kenseth couldn't pony up and drive by him on the outside. A racing deal.


I'm about to go through serious withdrawals/end of season depression. Don't be shocked if you don't hear from me for a few days at a time.

Yes, Ralph was a "cleaner" racer. But circumstances were different. Dale was usually racing to win because he had to pay back the loan he took out to buy tires for Sunday, on Monday morning. That's pressure.

I'll say this last thing about JR.

I'm liking him more and more every week. If he looks like that next season, he can win a championship. He looks hungry and is getting better and better. I like that.

Junior did good. I wanted him to win pretty bad and he gave it all he had.
