How about Pastrana?

So you like him...or not? I cant figure it out. Weren't you defending him by stating he had only 11 starts? And now you are bashing him for coming 28th at Phoenix 7 laps down.?
Like I said ....I'm a fan

I was being very sarcastic. Lol. Yes I am a fan of his as well.

I've said there seems to be some potential there, but I'm not on the bandwagon yet. Vegas certainly was his best run to date.

Travis can be really good at this - if he can adapt to the structured environment at Roush.
He's always been an independent spirit. Some might even call it unconventional.
If he chooses to toe the corporate line - which seems to be a pre-requisite in today's high-dollar world of NASCAR - he will be quite successful, I think!

I think that Travis has been self employed long enough to know the value of a front office.:D

I'm pretty impressed.. Plugging away at it..keeping the fenders on it and not pissing anyone off.

Came away with a 16th at Bristol. Not too bad at all.
He is 12th in points overall, his Rousch teammate Baine is 8th, so he is hanging in there. I would like to see him put the whoopin on Baine though for some reason. Seems like Bain has got a case of the big head IMO.

umm he won the one Daytona race and folks here were acting like he was the next Terry Labonte .:D

It seems like Trevor Bayne has adopted Stenhouses arrogance. He has done alot of good work off the racetrack but he can be a dick on the track.. With that said, I feel like he deserved his full-time nationwide seat awhile ago.

With THAT said, I'm pretty sure pastrana is gonna be the only Ford driver I'll be pulling for :D

Not a big fan of Stenhouse, BUT he reminds me of Pastrana in a way. He is new to cup and he is not making any mistakes, driving conservatively like Travis is in Nationwide. I might be all wrong, but so far it seems that way. He hasn't been mouthing off since he got in cup..may be Danica is coaching him.:owquitit:

Just personal feeling here,Travis doesn't seem like a Roushkateer. He seems more fitting for Ganassi or something. Jack taking on Travis makes me think about a fat chick trying to pull on some skinny low rise jeans, don't fit worth a crap, but I might get some dudes with these :D

We can only hope he meets the high standards for Daytona 500 winner Derrike Cope.

You had to bring this up? That was the first year I drew first and got to pick Earnhardt in our race pool - argh!

Back to topic, Travis has a great attitude, says the right things, and acts like he knows his place among the regulars as he proves himself on the track and moves up. He admitted to some fear about drafting in the pack before Daytona. I think he'll do well.

Red Bull needs to show some appreciation for him wearing their hats and help him get a cool sponsor. That easter egg paint job and driving suit can't be helping his self image, not to mention our viewing pleasure :)

Probably my most obscure diecast is Ron Barfield when he drove the 94 New Holland car for Bill Elliott.

I have this!! Used to have about 75 1/64th scale cars when I was a kid.. Would race them on the carpet in my room.. Barfield was basically a start and park car per my storyline. Hahaha

I think this is pretty outrageous..but then, It kind of has a cool factor too

I think I will start a thread, this might be kinda cool
