I wonder if the top pic of Davey and the RYR crew is from a test session in late 1992? The first Brickyard was ran in 1994, the car in the pic looks to be a 1992 Thunderbird. Plus the white letter tires were replaced at Atlanta in the fall race of 1992. Just curious?

Alan Kulwicki in his late model days at Slinger Speedway in Wisconsin.
For the reasons you stated and more, I believe you are 100% correct. The 1992 test was June 22-23 1992. The next test was not until August 16-17 1993, by which time Davey was dead. Unless this was taken at a time when the Cup cars were not testing at the Speedway, it has to be June 1992.

Congratulations to Mack for being so perceptive..... He was the only one to have caught that....... I know I wouldn't have. For the reasons you stated and more, I believe you are 100% correct.
