Pops crashed the 63 Galaxie and wound up putting the 406 into a ‘65 Mustang coupe with a straight axle out of an Econoline van. Sort of gasser style with a 4-speed. He said it was crazy to drive.

Oh, my.

I had a ‘63 Ford plain-Jane station wagon with dog-dish hubcaps. White with a factory 406 4-speed. The previous owner ordered it to tow a trailer. It was good in a straight line.
