How many other motorsports have no practice sessions?

I'm confused on the format myself but thats because I just glossed over it while working. However it's hilarious to me that I See on social media those clamoring for practice in the past are now upset that there's practice. Some fans are just angry 24/7.
 
I know a lot of drivers liked not having practice, and I think NASCAR liked it too. 15 mins of practice isn't enough time to make/test out changes so that to me seems like nothing more than a shakedown session for the new car. Won't be surprised to see them revert back to 0 practice at most places in 2023.
 
I like it essentially a NASCAR version of hot laps.
 
NASCAR Cup Series is a big deal, and I'd like to see them act like it is. It's America's top racing series, and the world's top oval-racing series. As a purist fan, I'd like to see at least two practice sessions, then qualifying. The top pros deserve an opportunity to hone their car and themselves into the best they can be.

That's just my opinion, and I realize there are economic reasons why that ain't gonna happen. Also, it is a minor gripe compared to the low horsepower / high downforce rules package. I'd much rather change that, irrespective of any practice or qualifying formats.

Also, I wonder if we are in for a real change in rules pertaining to backup cars??? F1 doesn't permit backup cars. IndyCar doesn't either. I think there could be a fundamental change about that in NASCAR. Maybe just one backup car per four-car organization? That would save some real money, at least I think it would.

They are trying to get the whole thing in in two hours. Practice, inspection, qualifying, impound and race the next day

What do teams with two cars get, a half of a backup car?
 
The 6 engine modified pulling tractors doesn't have practice or qualifying. Practice or test pulls would probably benefit them more then stock cars. The pullers have to get it right on the first shot within about 350 feet vs stock car racing that has 400 to 500 miles with multiple pit stops to get it right.
