Other sports have a fan vote ,I think . Seems to me that baseball does. I don't see the harm in involving the fans .It's just an exhibition race. It's like ..Brad had pictures of fans on his car this weekend .It wasn't the true Miller paint scheme but I was ok with it.

in other sports fan also vote in the entire field just about. I think that would be kind of cool. Have the fans vote for 20 Drivers they want in. That would take care of the like of David Ragan (who did deserve his spot in the current system) from taking up a spot that could have gone to a Truex Jr. Maybe have the Fans vote for 15 entries, and they still have the showdown for the other 5?
