Wes retired way too early and left the Racing world all together, but he is alive and well.
On a late summer day in 2015, I was able to finally meet him at the Laird Raceway in Canada. It took me 46 years to finally meet this legendary man, and he sure didn’t let me down.

Angus MacDonals’s son Chris (Mav), had brought the old Billy Johnson car to the track, and it brought Wes back to see the old Modifieds. Car is now back in the hands of the Richer family
