Yea, but didn't The Chase come about because Matt Kenseth won the Championship with one race, which means that the original purpose of The Chase was to prevent a 1 win Championship?

It came about the year after he won the championship only winning one race but I don't think that it was created for that reason. Hell, you've already had Tony win a championship since then only winning one race and they haven't changed it because of that. Read into it what you want though.
