IndyCar: Grand Prix of Sonoma

I was just looking at the top four drivers: 1st - 2nd- and third places this year. Correct me if I am wrong.

Dixon 1)- three
2)- two
3)- four

Rossi 1)- three
2)- one
3)- four

Power 1)- three
2)- three
3)- two

Hunter-Reay 1)- two
2)- four
3)- ------

That extra second place won it for Dixon.

Dixon also won the head to head match up against him. So consistency won the day and I love it.

May this series never make **** up like playoffs of whatever else nonsense.

Dixon is really a nice guy to talk to, too. He'll stop his scooter at the races and sign stuff for kids.

I really miss the days of Dixon and Franchitti racing together. I used to think of them as "Butch and Sundance". Dixon always had Franchitti's back. And it helped win Dario a lot of races. But now it's nice to see what Dixon can do on his own. He really deserves the recognition he's finally getting.

Rossi choking at Detroit while being pressured by RHR hurt a lot. I'd say that and the poorly-timed yellow at Portland and Dixon miraculously not getting taken out in the first-lap crash were the difference makers.

When people say Dixon never has a bad day they're really not kidding.
